Zefeng Wang (former Burge lab postdoctoral fellow) won this year's RNA Society/Scaringe Young Scientist Award in recognition of his outstanding research contributions to the field of RNA biology, including his work on RNA splicing carried out in the Burge lab. Zefeng Wang is currently an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. The RNA Society/Scaringe Young Scientist Award was established to recognize the achievement of young scientists engaged in RNA research and to encourage them to pursue a career in the field of RNA. |

and Specificity of RNA Splicing". Brad has since completed his
Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and is now a postdoc in the
Maniatis Laboratory at Harvard. |

Cambridge, Massachusetts. Gali weighs 3317 grams (7 pounds, 2 ounce) and
measures 50 cm (20 inches). |
